Financial position and financial performance
KION’s business performance varied across its two operating segments in the first nine months of 2026. Consolidated revenue and adjusted EBIT rose compared with the prior-year period, driven by the strong growth of revenue and earnings in the Intelligent Automation Solutions (IAS)* segment. By contrast, the financial performance of the Industrial Trucks & Services (ITS) segment remained largely on a par with the first three quarters of 2025. The Group’s free cash flow was comfortably into positive territory in the reporting period, despite increased M&A activities and the cash outflows under the efficiency program aimed at strengthening long-term competitiveness and capacity to carry out capital investment (‘efficiency program’).
* The Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) segment was renamed Intelligent Automation Solutions at the start of 2026
