The Executive Board of KION GROUP AG resolved an efficiency program on February 4, 2025 aimed at strengthening competitiveness and the capacity to carry out capital investment. The efficiency program is designed to achieve sustainable cost savings of around €140 million to €160 million per year, fully effective in the 2026 financial year. To achieve this objective, organizational structures are to be adjusted and work processes made more efficient. This is expected to have an impact on personnel requirements. For the implementation of the cost saving measures non-recurring expenses in the amount of approximately €240 million to €260 million are expected in the 2025 financial year.
